My name is Cristina Garza and I’m the founder and CEO of both Accountingprose and CannaComply!

2010 and 2013

We’re residing in Arizona and Colorado.
Tell us, how has mentumm accelerator helped you as an entrepreneur?
mentumm accelerator has finally given me the opportunity to learn from and share with top tier professionals- a huge win for a “loner” like myself. I have been searching for my tribe for ages, and I finally have found people that I can trust to bounce ideas off who understand the plight of the founder and are willing to be vulnerable and share their own experiences.
What motivates you to do what you do?
I am completely obsessed with accounting, accounting technology, process optimization, organizational efficiency, and analysis. My work allows me to do what I love while serving the small business community. Watching my clients and employees thrive is the ultimate reward!
What would you tell your younger, entrepreneurial self?
Look for your tribe and learn from their past experiences. Don’t be afraid to go searching, because they are out there. The investment of time and money is worth it!
If you had an extra hour each day of uninterrupted work time, how would you spend it?
Designing and implementing software and processes or learning a new skill that I can use to serve others. Deep diving into whatever hobby I am currently learning- right now it is DJing and improving my skiing, tomorrow it may be something else. I never stop learning.
What would you attribute most to your businesses’ success?
I am single-pointedly focused on Accountingprose and CannaComply. I would rather work or learn about something that positively affects my work than do anything else. My drive, curiosity, and unwillingness to settle are what have pushed us forward time and time again.
